Shayne Reynolds has been honing his craft behind the lens for over 18 years. Since discovering his passion with a digital compact camera back in 2008, his lifelong dedication to visual storytelling has evolved into 6 years of elite professional commercial shooting and 4.5 years of expert photography mentorship.
An award-winning photographer and lecturer, Shayne is a UGC-NET qualified Assistant Professor in Mass Communication, Media, and Journalism. He brings a rare, powerful blend of high-end international industry experience and decorated academic leadership to the heart of Hyderabad.
Shayne’s professional journey began with covering events, food and corporate shoots in Bangalore. Furthering his career, he took his photography professional Internationally. Shayne served as an official shipboard photographer on-board Disney Cruise Line across Florida and the Bahamas, earning the "Best Photograph" award during his tenure. Back in India, he established himself as a versatile commercial powerhouse:
Passionate about education, Shayne has dedicated nearly half a decade to bridging the gap between textbook theory and live studio workflows. He served as a core Faculty member at the prestigious St. Joseph's Degree and PG College, lecturing both BA and MA Mass Communication & Journalism students, where his innovation in the classroom earned him the school's prestigious Best Faculty Award.
Beyond photography, his cross-disciplinary expertise spans the modern multimedia landscape. Over his academic tenure, he designed curriculum and conducted advanced training in New Media & Digital Technologies, Audio-Visual & Documentary Production (including custom courses in Sound Recording and Podcasting), and Strategic Advertising.
Taking over as the Convenor of 'Eikona', the college's official photography club, Shayne completely revitalized the dormant program into a highly active creative hub. He introduced structured competitions, intensive photo walks, and technical training. Under his direct leadership, student media teams successfully managed live event coverage, resulting in numerous student photographs being published in leading national and local newspapers.
